The Perfect Seven-Day Greece Itinerary Athens-Mykonos-Santorini

Greece is an iconic travel destination that is beloved by travelers from around the world. If you want to visit Greece, check out the following perfect seven-day itinerary that will help you create lasting memories of a fantastic trip.

Day One

Start your trip in beautiful Mykonos, which is known for its stunning beaches and fun, upbeat nightlife. On your first day, make sure to head out to the beach early to soak up some sun and enjoy the water; Elia beach and Ornos beach are particularly beloved for their clear waters and fun atmosphere. After the beach, eat at a local restaurant for dinner.

Day Two

Spend the morning at the beach before taking a walk on the island and exploring all the local sights, sounds and architecture. You can go alone or book a tour guide. Make sure you get a good dinner, because at night you will wanna hit up the popular clubs and bars in the Mykonos Town area.

Day Three

Head from Mykonos to Santorini, an area best-known for its iconic blue-domed houses. The first thing you should do here is take a winery tour in order to taste some of the best wines the region has to offer. Afterwards, book a boat cruise to get a unique view of the area.

Day Four

Book a private tour to two of the most unique areas in Santorini: Perissa beach, well-known for its black sand; and Akrotiri island, which houses a stunning volcano. Afterwards, get some local lunch and take a walk around to get a close-up view of the unique homes in the area.

Day Five

Head to Athens and get ready to explore. On Day 5, hit a few famous sites–namely the Ancient Agora and the Acropolis. You’ll need a few hours to properly explore these sites, so make sure to eat a good breakfast and fill up for lunch afterwards.

Day Six

Now it’s time to check out the famous Parthenon. This is easily the most fascinating of Athens historical sites, so make sure to give yourself time to take it in properly. Stop at a local cafe for lunch and then visit the Acropolis Museum, which houses artifacts not held on the Acropolis site.

Day Seven

For your final day in Athens, take in some more modern sights: the popular food market (visit hungry!) as well as its famous Areopagitou street.
