Yes, there are thousands but this one just stands out to people as the simplest one. This would be a great course for anyone who is not that experienced but still loves to play, is just starting out, or is a professional but wants to try it out. For the little ones just starting their golf game, this would be perfect. This course is practically made for beginners.
I mean yes, of course you can start out at something like mini golf (not really) or even better a practice putting green or a driving range. First, you would want to get a feel for your swing and make sure you will not strain or pull anything. And this is best to practice on the driving range because you will be practicing. And for the women, it is expected to wear a golf dress, polo shirt, golf skirt, and again the appropriate shoes to golf in. Again, you do not need to go on a shopping spree just starting to play golf but it is a necessity to have nicer clothes when you play.
