What is the Best Christmas Perfume for Women?

The holiday season is the best time to celebrate the feelings of warmth and nostalgia, and what better way to do so than with a perfect Christmas perfume

Whether you want to recollect the fond memories of your childhood like the tasty cookies grandma used to bake, cherish the cozy and inviting environment that Christmas brings, or simply simply feel uplifted and joyful, there’s a Christmas fragrance for all your desires. From spicy and warm to dark and outdoor-esque to sweet and gourmand, there’s a female perfume to help you create new cherished memories this Christmas season, besides reminiscing the good old days!

Here’s a list of my top 5 best perfumes for women during Christmas.

Tom Ford Lost Cherry Eau de Parfum

If I had to describe the fragrance of this magnificent perfume from the house of Tom Ford, I would say it has a candy-like essence of exotic black cherries mingled with a cherry liqueur accord that is further mixed with a touch of bitter almonds.

This gives way to the heart notes of Turkish rose and Jasmine sambac. These opulent floral notes are then blended with the unexpected melange of vetiver, cedarwood, and sandalwood.

Cherries are one of the most well-known symbols of Christmas, thanks to the blooming of cherry blossoms during this specific time. Also, with the creation of various cherry-infused desserts and dishes, a wonderful cherry perfume like the Lost Cherry EDP by Tom Ford will certainly bring the ladies in the right spirits for the holiday season.

Launched in 2018, this ambery floral fragrance for women has the top notes of bitter almond, black cherry, and cherry liqueur. The heart notes are made up of plum, sour cherry, Turkish rose, and Jasmine Sambac. The base notes are vanilla, tonka beans, Peru balsam, benzoin, sandalwood, cedar, cloves, vetiver, patchouli, and cinnamon.

Maison Martin Margiela ‘Replica’ By the Fireplace Eau de Toilette

The Maison Martin Margiela By the Fireplace EDT evokes the essence of winter indoor evenings next to a fireplace. This warm and cozy EDT blends the smoky scent of burning wood with the notes of guaiac wood, cashmere, and clove oil.

The sweet and gourmand-like notes of vanilla, red berry oil, and roasted chestnuts further enhance the feeling of being enveloped by the warmth and comfort of a burning wooden fireplace on a cold Christmas evening.

It is my favorite Christmas perfume. It conveys the scent of smoky wood burning in the chimney and the captivating aroma of chestnuts being grilled beside it.

Launched in 2015, this woody-vanilla fragrance has top notes of pink pepper, cloves, and orange blossom. The heart notes are guaiac wood, chestnut, and juniper berries. The base notes are cashmere, vanilla, and Peru balsam.

Kayali Vanilla 28 Eau de Parfum

If you ask me what Kayali Vanilla 28 EDP smells like, I’d say it’s sweet and delicious, a gourmand vanilla fragrance. Thanks to its incredible ingredients—Madagascar vanilla orchid, Tonka beans, and brown sugar—you’ll feel hungry as soon as you smell it!

The overall scent profile of this EDP is a very elevated vanilla scent blended with musk and Amber. The addition of Amber toned down the perfume’s sweetness and made it not smell overly sweet. Moreover, if you’re looking for a long-lasting perfume for women, this should be your blind buy!

The rich Madagascar vanilla, infused with tonka beans and brown sugar, has an aroma that resembles a mouth-watering vanilla cookie straight out of an expensive English bakery on the eve of Christmas.

Launched in 2018, this ambery vanilla fragrance for women has the top notes of Madagascar vanilla orchid and Jasmine. The heart notes are tonka beans and brown sugar. The base notes are amber, amber wood, patchouli, and musk.

Tom Ford Black Orchid Eau de Parfum

When it comes to a dark and outdoor-esque perfume for women that feels seductive, mysterious, and luxurious, you should opt for the Black Orchid EDP by the house of Tom Ford. This is my favorite designer perfume for the winter, and it has earned me quite a few compliments, indeed!

Tom Ford wanted to create a women’s fragrance that felt sensual and sophisticated and became a testament to modernity and timelessness. With the notes of truffle, vanilla, and Mexican chocolate, this has a gourmand touch to it and a smoky feeling thanks to the note of incense.

With the mysterious allure of black orchids and a blend of spicy and dark accords, this feels like a very successful woman in a smoky leather jacket, living her best Christmas holidays with a cigar in her hands!

Launched in 2006, this ambery floral dark fragrance for women has the top notes of blackcurrant, gardenia, truffle, ylang-ylang, bergamot, Jasmine, Mandarin orange, and Amalfi lemon. The heart notes are made up of dark orchids, fruity notes, gardenia, Jasmine, Lotus, ylang-ylang, and spices. The base notes are Mexican chocolate, vanilla, incense, amber, sandalwood, vetiver, patchouli, and white musk.

Kilian Love, Don’t be Shy Eau de Parfum

Love, don’t be shy from the house of Kilian, Paris, is an unforgettable women’s fragrance that will captivate your senses from the beginning. This fragrance opens with the gentle embrace of orange blossom, and then there’s a delicate interplay between the juicy honeysuckle and plush rose notes.

When complemented by the sweet allure of marshmallow, the amazing blend of these floral notes creates an indulgent scent profile. The base notes of this fragrance add a hint of sensuality and depth to the perfume, thanks to the addition of a warm amber note.

It is my favorite gourmand perfume in winter, especially during the Christmas holidays! It feels like a delectable dessert that has been carefully crafted to maintain the spirit of the holiday season. Also, if you want a long-lasting perfume for women, this can be a great pick during winter.

Launched in 2007, the top notes of this Amber fragrance for women are Pink Pepper, Bergamot, Neroli, and Coriander. The heart notes are made up of honeysuckle, orange blossom, iris, Jasmine, and rose. The base notes are sugar, civet, musk, labdanum, vanilla, and caramel.

These are my top 5 perfume choices for the Christmas holidays, and these cover every aspect of a fragrance that I’m looking for during these cold, chilly days.

Apart from these, some of the other notable women’s perfumes for the Christmas season that I can’t get enough of include,

  • Jo Loves Ebony & Cassis.
  • Ellis Brooklyn Après Eau de Parfum.
  • Aesop Ouranon Eau de Parfum.
  • Maison Martin Margiela Whispers In The Library Eau de Toilette.
  • Phlur Not Your Baby Eau de Parfum.
